I recently had the opportunity to meet with The Premier League and see the actual trophy. So of course, I couldn’t resist wearing the Two Blues of Bishop Auckland FC – arguably the best amateur club in Britain’s footballing history.

Grass roots football has been a big part of my life – I still play for fun most Friday nights – and is important to our community. I’m disappointed the Tory-Lib Dem Council thwarted Labour’s plans for better facilities in Bishop Auckland.
